and now a Tomorrow's newbie question

I have a multilined field that is disabled so that it can't be changed it
has 17 lines (always) now I want to be able to slect one of the lines and
just to a particular card, is the a way of knowing which line is clicked or
will I have to put 17 invisible buttons on top of the field and have a
shared script to jump to the correct card?

Also it would be nice if we could have grid fields in future releases, so
that we can fill a field randomly(ish)
