I agree with Craig. This was discussed way back in the Revolution days. Peope were trying to migrate their old Hypercard stacks and discovered that their projects were much faster in Hypercard because the Revolution engine was optimised differently. Hypercard was written to optimize traversing cards. Livecode was not. Users were encouraged to have 1 card for a single function and then populate the fields accordingly.
