Yes - Simple code is crucial. Few realize it!

Yes again - Managing risk! Subscriptions are fragile.
Subject to renewal, whim, outage, closure, or glitch.
App Runtime subscription/kill switch = Extreme risk.
Instant disaster! Loss of built products/users.
IDE subscription to build = Moderate risk.
Big inconvenience. Loss/migration of working project.
IDE version purchase = Safer.
IDE will build, apps will run, as OS/store allows.
More time, less headache to fix issues.
Traditionally, subscriptions often purchase IDE versions.
