Hi friends,
I really need you collective swarm-intelligence and maybe some hints
from the mothership! :-)
My setup:
-----------------------
macOS 15.5
LC 10.0.2
-----------------------
Java Version:
java version "1.8.0_451"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_451-b10)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.451-b10, mixed mode)
------------------------
Android Studio Iguana | 2023.2.1 Patch 1
Build #AI-232.10300.40.2321.11567975, built on March 13, 2024
Runtime version: 17.0.9+0-17.0.9b1087.7-11185874 aarch64
VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o.
macOS 15.3.2
GC: G1 Young Generation, G1 Old Generation
Memory: 2048M
Cores: 8
Metal Rendering is ON
Registry: ide.experimental.ui=true
---------------------------
I can create runtimes for Android if I check "Sign for development only"!
PROBLEMS:
1. I cannot connect one any of my Android devices, two tablets, one cellphone
so that LC will recognize them as a "Test target".
This has been working in the past.
2. Even WORSE
I have a VALID (yes, VALID) keystore file which gives me:
--------------------------------------------------------
There was an error while saving the standalone application
signing failed - keystore load: Invalid keystore format
--------------------------------------------------------
when I try to sign any Android runtime.
This has been working in the past, too.
WTF? See below...
I know that the keystore file is valid, since Matthias Rebbe was so kind and created
an app and an update for that app WITH THAT NAMELYKEYSTORE FILE, so the problem
must be in my setup.
Any hints VERY appreciated.
Maybe a mismatch in my Java etc. versions?
Maybe I can hook into the runtime creation process in LC and see WHAT will throw that error?
I'm completely clueless!
Best
Klaus
