Dear Peter,

i have not an M1, but am always interested what can be produced with LC.

I tested your program and noticed that although i switched to English and World i see a button with chinese text on the next page.

Regarding your problem.
Is it possible by any change that your user is running the app from mounted DMG? At least then it does not go any further after pressing the button with chinese text. The next card, which displays J.S Bach i think, comes up, but the menu in the middle is greyed out and the program stops.
When quitting it still prompts if you want to quit. But none of the menu entries work.

Regards,
Matthias
