slow responsiveness on windows - what was it like?

 > working with LC 9.6 on a fast win 10 machine

The biggest issue was not Windows per se, but rather disk access:
LC IDE's casual repetitive disk usage + modern antivirus + HDD.

Best solution: SDD.
Next best: Turn off some SE auto options, tweak antivirus.
