Record audio on Mac

I have been reasonably assured that in LC 10 there will be a simplified/unified way to record audio and/or video on most platforms.  This has been in progress for several years.


I am looking forward to this returned functionality.

You can use the camera control:

cameraControlDo tCamera, "startRecording", ....
