eheheheheh let me throw this hack in here and run


function davidsMerge pText

   replace "[[" with "[safe[" in pText

   replace "]]" with "]safe]" in pText

   replace "{{" with "[[" in pText

   replace "}}" with "]]" in pText

   get the merge of pText

   replace "[safe[" with "[[" in it

   replace "]safe]" with "]]" in it

   return it

end davidsMerge
