mergAV permission dialog

Answering my own question… I now see a note at the bottom of mergAVCamCreate that says 

"If only capturing barcodes or photos set the microphone to empty before calling mergAVCamCreate to avoid app store rejection.”

So apparently my problem has a solution. At least as soon as I figure out how to set the microphone to “empty”  :- )
