Revenue and the Open Source edition

I think the community version would have
more community involvement if they gave
people more externals to show them how
to create externals.

I get the feeling tje mothership does not
want community advancement externals.

And so it is obvious everyone cannot be
involved in programming the open source
version for many different reasons.  That
leaves people little chance to participate
by adding code.  Use it, point out bugs
and pay money.  That is not what I was
hoping for.
