That will do the trick.
An alternate way of retrieving the data is

set the custompropertyset of image <imageIdentifierHere> to "uMyEffects"
put the startsize of image <imageIdentifierHere>
set the custompropertyset of image <imageIdentifierHere> to empty

...and of course the same could be done for setting the custom property 
array.
