7.1.4 RC1 on OS X gets scanned every opening

It is because the app bundle was recently made read only to avoid users breaking the signing because of a tendency for users to save IDE mods and plugins in the app bundle. Unfortunately gatekeeper actually writes to the app bundle it has been changed for the next release to only read only the contents directory.
