Clipboard problem with Word and LC

This sounds to me like OO is overriding the clipboard styling and 
replacing it with the document default styles. I know LC keeps the 
styling when transfering text to the clipboard, and I assume its RTF 
text is compatible.

Does anyone have experience with Open Office?
