Goofy Q #99: set a customProperty

Well, talk about "late to the feeding frenzy"; but, Hey, I learnt to 
drive a car when I was 32.

Now, I have an object to which I have assigned 4 customProperties:

T,R,L,B

and I would like to do something of this sort (pseudo code follows):

set customProperty "T" of object "myThing" to "red"
