UDP and livecode

Hi folks,

I need to try out some UDP for communication with an AMX systems controller. HTTP posts are sometimes being processed very slowly by the AMX and hoping that the UDP might be faster.

Is there anywhere in the Livecode documentation that talks about UDP more directly? all ive found are some antidotal bits with socket commands. I realize its very similar, but would be helpful to see something that address all the various UDP stuff together with Livecode to make sure im not missing something here!
