Best way to check if a Field is a label?

I name my fields with a trailing L or F which lets you do the same thing as
using a custom prop.

   repeat with i = 1 to the number of fields of this card
      if (the last char of the short name of field i is "F") then put
random(1525434) into field i
   end repeat
