Possible insanity, or is it LC 7.0.1?

Now reported as a bug (14386) - I’ve included a reference to this thread to show that my observation is backed up by many listers. Thanks everyone. Thanks Jacque for doubting the sanity of SANE.

I am quite happy to be told it?s my fault, but the fact is that this is just an abstraction of something that has arisen in the middle of a loop that produces a table of values based on input parameters which are all very similar: the loop suddenly hits an error only on this particular value. It has worked in earlier versions of LC, but now I?m wedded to Unicode, it?s got to work with LC 7.
