What version of LiveCode are you using. The behavior you are describing
does not match the dictionary entries nor the observed behavior of the
either the clickText of clickChunk function in LC 6.6.5 for example.

They return only the clicked word in my test stack. You must have the
text "He's a muckle glaikit gowk" set as a link (i.e. a text group)?
