Hmm. Yes, but it is still not acceptable. 

It is a very longstanding rule of this list that there be NO theological debate on it. We are a diverse list of people here and the purpose of this list is to support our endeavours with LiveCode. That's it. Occasional off topic discussion happens, we are human and its good to remember it, but theology is so potentially divisive that it is off limits. Always.

So please don't do it again. Nor should anyone respond to this thread with any kind of debate on whether this debate is acceptable. It is not.
