Odd behavior in Win8-I'm stuck fixing it, Help??

Thanks, I’m trying it out. Of course, I won’t be able to tell if it solves the problem until the next student has a problem, but it’s a good idea anyway. Unfortunately, due to the way I’ve set up the data plotting, it’s going to be a fairly big job. I rely heavily on screen capture, but it’s most likely worth the modifications.
