Thanks for the input but no solution yet.

The user has admin privileges and the app can create and write new files to its default folder with no problem.

Escape key doesn’t seem to make a difference, but what is it supposed to do anyway? Maybe there’s something there.

For whatever reason, it works perfectly on my Win7 test machine, but not on the other two.
Maybe they don’t have the right Trojans installed?

The only major difference that comes to mind is that I have Livecode installed on the test machine.

I figure, if they can drag and drop on the desktop, they should be able to drag to my Livecode app.

Is there some way of associating files as “openable” by certain apps?
