I tested only on Mac and can see a difference when opening the image in Safari on Mac and in LC on Mac. The image in LC is definitely a little bit darker than the one in Safari on Mac.

And the loupe tool of the color select dialog on mac shows different values when selecting the color of the image in the browser and in LC.
