Stack Menu Mystery - Disappointing Documentation (Long, sorry)

Hi Bob
I was just trying to find out what a stack menu IS. I don’t know whether you can build one with the menu builder or not, but what I was looking for was an explanation as to the what, the why and the how. I suppose the how might have included menu builder.
When I start a new project I do usually use the menu builder, but menus always need tweaking in my experience, especially cross-platform ones, so I do end up doing lots of stuff outside that context.
Maybe you didn’t want your question answered - if so, sorry for the bandwidth!
