mobilePickPhoto - User error, simulator error or Livecode bug?

Another oddity ive come across while trying to update some old apps.

The code…

 mobilePickPhoto tSource, tMaxHeight,tMaxHeight
 put the result into tResult

used to work,  but now it returns nothing whatever is selected in the simulator,  tested with Livecode 6.6.5,  6.7 and 7.

Is this something to do with my code,  the simulator or perhaps another little LC bug?
