Dropbox File Path via Shell Or Similar?

I can't say I've spent much time looking into it, but AFAIK Dropbox is a 
protocol, not a mounted file system.

If you know the user has DP installed you should be able to write to the 
local folder ~/Dropbox and expect it to be synced, no?
