QT in Release 7 dp-7

In the release notes of dp-7 it was mentioned that QT related feature don't
work.
I read this as related  to MAC OS .
It seems that is related to Windows 7 ( there is crash as soon QT icon  in
Tools menu clicked)  . I am right in this ?
If so is there an entry in the Dictionary related to the use of  AVF
foundation Player ?
