I think that Scots are capable to innovate because they
were (still are?) not raised to be blind followers.

Intelligent thinkers go to great lengths to demonstrate
the validity of their ideas. Even moving to another
countries.

But that way of thought is mired with a lot of
stress when different opinions clashes, so that
explains why there are Scots in many parts of
the world. :)
