Error importing PBM and PGM image

Hi All,

I just filed this bug in the Quality Center:

Error importing PBM and PGM image

The report include a zipped Folder with one stack 
and three images (pbm, pgm, pnm)

1) Use the sample stack to import pbm and pgm images found in folder.
2) pbm and pgm image files are not imported.
3) LiveCode becomes unresponsive
4) LiveCode processor usage shoots to 50% or more
5) Tested under Lubuntu Linux 13.10

If your own tests shows different results, please report.
