That might stick, I'll see next time I use combine/splt in a few weeks!

I keep thinking some form of the convert command might be clearer (or some
other clever verb rather than convert, like transform).  Maybe "transform
tVar to array" or "transform tArray to text".  Not sure what happens with
split/combine if the variable is not in the correct format but whatever it
is, the same could happen with the convert idea.  Shouldn't think that
would ever happen though :-)
