Support for Mac OSX 10.5

Full agreement from me. I'm anxious that we *finally* move forward to
Cocoa... the writing has been on the wall for quite some time now. I don't
think the problem is PPC vs Intel so much as older non-upgradable hardware.
And for that the changes should be more under the hood so that applications
are compatible at the script level.
