[OT] Virtualization?

I have a Samsung 300E5A-S01 laptop, which tells me, in the BIOS,
that virtualization is not supported (although it does list 'VT-x); however,
the details of the processor:

indicate that virtualization is supported.

Does anyone know whether there is a way to flash the BIOS, or some such,
to enable hardware virtualization?
