Unwanted password protection

Thanks for the thought Andrew, but I just installed the very latest version of LC ( 6.1.1 rc 6) and the problem is still there. I understood that this version didn't have the problems reported earlier in this cycle. I guess I will have to report it as a bug unless anyone can explain the issue in the next few hours.
