I did this:

1. Create a new stack
2. put the following in the card script:

function foo
  put the ticks
end foo

3. Compiled it (Apply)
4. Put in msg:

put foo()

and the result is:

Message execution error:

Error description: Handler: can't find handler

Hint: foo()
