Android and iOS updates do not touch "the documents folder" PERIOD.

Hi
For the most part this answers the questions. I was not trying to delete the
user data, but preserve the data upon a new update.
I was told the "Document" folder was the place to put any app related images
and referenced docs to have them sustained in the app. I just needed to
understand that there is not a special process or scripts required to
protect the users added data from being deleted on an update.
