OT: looking for Proxy-Server-Simulation

Hi,

I am looking for a freeware proxy-server software for testing my http
proxy-server settings in my LC program on windows and mac without having a
hardware proxy-server.

On windows I have found proxymitron, which works pretty easy, but is not
capable to simulate a proxy-server authentication with user and pw.

Any recommendations for win and mac appreciated
