If need be, can you use something other than LiveCode to solve the problem? A Flash projector ought to be able to work, and doesn't rely on any system software to be able to play H.264 video, along with high quality AAC audio.

Or, if you can require that the system has Flash Player (which most systems do) you could use a rev browser to play a swf in LiveCode.
