LC, or Revolution, can be run in older hardware at least back to OS9. Not sure about OS8. Anyway, if you have that, you have the other. I have not looked at it for years, but I have Rev on a G4 using OS9. Maybe v.2.x?

1. A Mac PPC version of O-S Livecode?

2. A Linux PPC version of O-S Livecode?

Lots of underfunded schools "out there" running PPC Macs with either of 
those Operating Systems.
