This is actually a fairly good point. What most companies want to avoid is having to marry their developer. If only one or two people at a company knows how to develop in Livecode, and the company decides they are not working in the best interests of the company and want to get rid of them, this poses a major problem. It's why so many companies have adopted Microsoft for their networking architecture.
