Livecode and socket communication

Hello fellow South Carolinian, and welcome to LiveCode!  I'm only 2 hours
up the road from you (Greenville).  Anyways...
I've heard rumblings about sockets coming to Android in 6.6, but for now on
iOS there's Monte's external, as you've noted.
