spitting nails at the IDE

I am so frustrated with the bugs in the IDE, and the other alpha-minus
pieces, that if I had a another straightforward way to code the
cross-platform interface that I'd do it.

This just isn't good for my blood pressure (which is normally superb).

The breakpoints that oly break if they feel like it, the reloading
several times an hour over the strict compilation shadowing bug, the
database funcions that don't return the right information
(revDatabaseTableNames is usually incomplete with postgres) or return
it incorrectly (revDatabaseColumnNames dropping the capitalization,
even though databases are case sensitive), and then all the little
things (the message box wandering and disappearing, the tools that
don't work or disappear . . .)

I am sick and tired at losing minutes here and hours there to this
nonsense that should have been ironed out years ago.

OK, I've vented.

But then, I'd really consider jumping if I found a platform that
worked properly.
