Saving in lageacy format

I don't know if this will help, but here is a double-check.

A file in the 2.7 format will have these leading characters: REVO2700

(And 2.4 will start out with "#!/bin/sh" <newline> "# MetaCard 2.4 stack".)

It seems I had some trouble at one time saving in legacy format, but I don't remember what it was. Something to do with file extensions, I think. I have the vague impression that it was my goof, not the IDE, so this might not help.
