On Thunderbird I get about 5% of messages posted to the Use-Livecode
list ending
up in my Spam filter; the rest end up in my in-box.

Therefore (and this is the 'clever' bit) I check my Spam folder every day.
That, of course, may be beyond one or two people . . . LOL.
