slightly OT: how to search amazon?

Thanks, Bob. I wondered the same thing. But I'm pretty sure I've seen apps that do this. Although I guess it's possible they use other sources besides Amazon? Or maybe they are members of Amazon's Associates program?
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll keep digging.
