Er... runrev doesn't. The LiveCode installer is a binary file. Whether
the executable bit is set or not is irrelevant because it doesn't
survive a download from the web page. But the LiveCode installer
itself is neither an archive file, in which case the user wouldn't
have to fiddle with the executable bit, nor any file type recognized
by the system as installable, in which case the package manager would
spring into action.
