Hi Jose,

From a developers point of view, it is important to test your software on actual Windows hardware. If you don't do this, you may run into unexpected problems, either because something works on a PC but not in a virtual environment or because you may write a script that accesses the hardware of the host machine but can't access the hardware of a real PC.

Nonetheless, I use a virtual environment myself when I have no PC available. VirtualBox is free and works as good as any commercial product.
