how to add a file type and creator code to a binary file under mac os x

Matthias,

set the filetype to "myAPMP4!"

or whatever the code is supposed to be. The first 4 chars are the creator code, the second 4 are the file type. Any file created after this line will have this creator and type. Works on Mac only.
