Is it safe to upgrade development machines to Lion yet?

One nice thing is that I can use the same external drive to use Lion on more than one machine, though it does seem to still think it's on the machine it was installed from. It insists on telling me my old MackBook Pro is a MacBook Air. I don't mind, it continues to work ok after that.
