[OT] images: best transparent format

When you save a png you should get options about how many bits there are, and whether there is transparency. If you see an option to have either 32 bit, or 24 bit and transparency selected, then those should work perfectly in LiveCode. At least it does for me.

Look too to see if there is a Save for Web and Devices option in Fireworks (I don't have it installed on my machine at the moment, so can't check). In Photoshop, if you Save As PNG, you're likely to get white premultiplied into the image. Saving for web makes a PNG that doesn't premultiply the background color.
