Devin,

Here are my steps to get an unadorned button:

set the opaque of the selectedObject to false
set the showBorder of the selectedObject to false
set the showName of the selectedObject to false
set the shadow of the selectedObject to false
set the hiliteBorder of the selectedObject to false
set the armBorder of the selectedObject to false
set the showFocusBorder of the selectedObject to false
set the hiliteIcon of the selectedObject to 0
set the hoverIcon of the selectedObject to 0

Could it be the armBorder in your case?

Chris

This is regardless of whether I have hiliteBorders turned off or on. I can't figure out how to stop it. It happens both in the simulator and on a device.
