Copying Objects from one card to another

I'm trying to copy a number of objects from one card to another by selecting them all on the source card, copy, then paste them onto the destination card.  On the destination card, they all end up stacked up on top of each other instead of in the same positions as on the source card.  The destination card is big enough to hold all of them.

What am I doing wrong?
